Not my best work. Had a difficult time with the composition and pose.
Why a ninja? Well, ninjas are the illusionist of ancient Japan. Making themselves appear more frightening or stronger than they actually is pretty much their MO. They almost never take on a straight up fight but use tactics to confuse and outwit their enemies.
Kinda similar to how magicians misdirect the audience's attention from the real trick of their stage acts.
Looking at Trixie now, I can see why there are Trixie fans. Tried another smug kinda look but of a different kind.
The blindfold is kind of a copout since the yellow eyes would take the focus away trixie.

Your description details a big part of the reason I love Trixie so much, and this is exactly what I imagine her doing after defeating an Ursa Minor. You may not think that this is your best work, but this is amazing to me, and I'm not saying that just because I happen to be a Trixie fanatic high calibur Trixie enthusiast.
I can see Trixie fighting using doppelganger spells, illusory cantrips and her wits, seeing as her offensive spells probably wouldn't be all that powerful. She'd be amazing at analyzing potential foes and exploiting their weaknesses once found. She would always have a plan for every situation.
